I chose this image because it stopped me in my tracks and I looked at it for a long time
I feel like this is a thoughtfully crafted image, and unusual. Kudos to this photographer for thinking outside the box to create a meaningful portrait that is also unexpected and really stands out. I really love the sense of mystery, the mood of anticipation, the great backlighting, and the lace detail of the dress.
